I was inspired by some great surfacing work i've seen recently, and wanted to explore some new techniques in Mari. Here's an experiment from last week. It's not entirely finished, but it's close. The texturing is a mix of Mari hand work and Maya procedurals. Rendered in Arnold 5.

The model was a free asset provided by the Foundry a few years ago for a Mari competition. I borrowed some select parts, remodeled and re-UV'd them to suit my needs.
